TAX - AFFORDABLE HOUSING & TAX CREDIT | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Tax Associate to join its Affordable Housing and Tax Credit Team.
The associate will work closely with a team representing for-profit and nonprofit developers in the development, acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, operation, and sale of affordable multifamily housing for families and seniors nationwide. The work will involve complex transactions utilizing federal, state, and local affordable housing programs, including low-income housing tax credits and related financing structures.
This role provides significant client exposure, the opportunity to engage in sophisticated partnership tax matters, and the chance to contribute to a practice that supports community development and social impact through innovative legal solutions.
REQUIRED: Candidates must have meaningful experience in partnership tax and ideally in federal income tax credits. An undergraduate degree in Accounting and an LL.M. in Taxation (preferred) are strongly valued. Excellent academic credentials, analytical ability, writing skills, and communication skills are required, along with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Candidates must be members in good standing of the GA state bar.
