COMMERCIAL LITIGATION / CLASS ACTION | MID-LEVEL ATTORNEY (3+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Commercial Litigation / Directors & Officers Section. This opportunity offers the ability to work on sophisticated commercial disputes and class action matters within a fast-growing national litigation platform.
The Associate will handle complex commercial litigation matters involving business disputes, financial transactions, multi-jurisdictional litigation, and class action defense for private, public, and nonprofit organizations. Responsibilities include conducting early case analysis and developing litigation strategy, preparing and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive and procedural motions, attending hearings, negotiating disputes, and advising clients on legal risks, options, and likely outcomes.
FMG’s Commercial Litigation and D&O team regularly handles high-stakes disputes involving multiple parties, significant financial exposure, and complex procedural issues. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing sophisticated litigation matters, communicating directly with clients, and working both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.

REQUIRED: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; active Georgia Bar admission and good standing; 3+ years of commercial litigation and/or class action experience; strong academic credentials; excellent legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills; ability to manage deadlines and billable expectations; and strong client-service orientation. Experience with complex commercial disputes, class actions, D&O litigation, and familiarity with iManage and/or OneDrive.
