LABOR & EMPLOYMENT: Our client, the Atlanta office of an AmLaw Top 100 firm, is seeking an associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join their Labor & Employment team. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment and labor law within mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, drafting employment-related provisions in merger and purchase agreements, and deal-related executive employment agreements. Experience in reviewing and drafting workplace policies, work rules, and handbooks for nationwide employers is also required. Candidates should have practical experience advising management on workplace laws, including the ADA, FMLA, FLSA, ADEA, NLRA, and WARN Act. Strong written and oral communication, analytical skills, interpersonal abilities, and a strong work ethic are essential.
REQUIRED: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with a strong academic record; GA Bar Admission; attention to detail; strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
