TAX: Our client, the Atlanta office of a national firm, is seeking an associate with 2 to 3 years of experience to join their tax practice group on federal, international, and state and local tax controversy matters. Candidates should have experience or a strong interest in a broad range of tax matters, including U.S. federal income, international, and state and local tax planning related to domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, investment fund formation, and real estate transactions. This includes preparing related documents, filings, and providing transactional support. Additionally, candidates should be familiar with tax controversy and disputes, such as voluntary disclosures, litigation, audits, appeals, and collections, involving the IRS, Tax Court, Department of Justice (Tax Division), and/or State Tax Authorities.  LL.M. degree in Taxation preferred but not required.

REQUIRED: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with a strong academic record; GA Bar Admission; attention to detail; strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
