Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Investment & Development Team Attorney (Non-Partnership Track) to join its award-winning RE investment and development practice. The attorney will handle sophisticated matters involving corporate leasing, portfolio management and construction; property acquisition and disposition; RE financing and investment; RE joint ventures; and development and redevelopment.

This is a Team Attorney role offering an alternative to the traditional partnership track, with a lower billable-hour and minimal non-billable requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advise clients on sophisticated RE investment, development, and redevelopment matters; handle corporate leasing, portfolio management and construction; property acquisitions and dispositions; and related real estate transactions
• Handle RE financing and investment transactions; advise on and structure RE joint ventures; collaborate collegially with attorneys across the firm's national real estate practice
• NOTE: Lower billable-hours and minimum non-billable requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years sophisticated RE experience, including corporate leasing, portfolio management and construction, acquisitions and dispositions, RE financing and investment, joint ventures, and/or development and redevelopment
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong work ethic; ability and desire to work collegially and contribute to a national practice
• JD from a nationally recognized and accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
• Georgia bar licensed or prepared to become licensed in the jurisdiction of the hiring offices (South/SE region includes ATLANTA, CHARLOTTE, DALLAS, RALEIGH, WINSTON-SALEM); licensure in the state of the candidate's base office is preferred
