COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (4-5 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group. This opportunity offers the ability to work on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions with a particular focus on commercial real estate development and new construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys while advising developers, investors, owners, lenders, and other stakeholders on a broad range of transactional real estate matters.
The Associate will be involved in all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, financings, due diligence, and transaction management. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, financing documents, easements, construction-related agreements, and other transaction documents; coordinating closings; managing transaction timelines; and providing strategic legal counsel to clients throughout the lifecycle of complex real estate projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial real estate transactional experience, exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to independently manage sophisticated matters while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment. REQUIRED: J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar admission; 4–5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience, preferably gained in a law firm setting; experience with commercial real estate development and new construction projects; strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills; exceptional attention to detail; and outstanding communication and client service abilities.
