REAL ESTATE - FINANCE | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2-6 YRS): Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, seeks a junior to mid-level associate to join its national Real Estate Finance Practice Group.
In this position you will manage loan originations for large transactions from inception through closing and post-closing, including mezzanine and preferred equity components, asset management and workout matters, and secondary market execution such as repurchase facilities and other exit strategies. You will draft and negotiate core finance documentation, coordinate diligence across collateral types and jurisdictions, interface directly with clients and counterparties, and drive deals to timely closing within fast-moving timelines.

REQUIRED: Candidates must hold a JD and be admitted, or promptly admissible, in GA . Successful candidates bring 2-6 years of broad real estate finance experience at a large law firm, strong academic credentials, and superb writing and communication skills. They should demonstrate hands-on experience with lender-side loan originations for structured commercial real estate finance, including mezzanine and preferred equity, together with asset management and workout exposure. The role requires the ability to run transactions independently from term sheet through closing and post-closing, including managing diligence, negotiating documents, coordinating repurchase facility or other secondary market executions, and navigating complex subject matter efficiently while contributing as a dependable team player.
