ENERGY TRANSACTIONS- PROJECT FINANCE | MD-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (4–7 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Energy Transactional practice group. This position offers the opportunity to work within a nationally recognized renewable energy project finance and development practice representing clients on sophisticated infrastructure and energy transactions.
The Associate will support complex renewable energy and infrastructure transactions involving project finance and development matters, including tax equity structures and debt financing arrangements. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing discrete components of financing and development deals, collaborating directly with partners and clients, and assisting with transactions from initial structuring through closing. The role provides substantial client exposure and increasing responsibility within a collaborative team environment focused on professional development and hands-on experience in high-value energy transactions.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 4–7 years of project finance and development experience; experience with tax equity and/or debt financing transactions; renewable energy and/or infrastructure project experience preferred; strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills; ability to independently manage deal components; and active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction.
