CORPORATE | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3–6 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Corporate Practice Group. This position offers the opportunity to work within a national corporate practice handling sophisticated transactional matters while gaining meaningful client interaction and responsibility on deal teams.
The Associate will support a broad range of corporate transactions, with a primary focus on acquisitions and divestitures. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing due diligence processes, coordinating and overseeing key aspects of transactions from diligence through closing, and collaborating with deal teams to support complex corporate matters. The role also involves direct client interaction, assisting with transaction structuring, and supporting senior attorneys in executing high-value deals. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong analytical and drafting abilities, exceptional organization and matter management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and supervising attorneys in a fast-paced transactional environment.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–6 years of experience in corporate transactional work focused on mergers and acquisitions or related matters; strong drafting and analytical skills; excellent organizational and communication abilities; experience participating in complex transactions and interacting with clients; excellent academic credentials; and active Georgia Bar admission in good standing.
