CORPORATE M&A | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3+): Our client, a full-service international law firm, is seeking a mid-level Corporate M&A Associate to join its General Corporate, M&A & Securities team. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-profile transactions in a collaborative environment alongside experienced attorneys serving a diverse, global client base.
The Associate will support and lead various aspects of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, including drafting and negotiating primary transaction documents, conducting corporate due diligence, and managing deal processes through closing. Responsibilities include working across complex transactions, advising on corporate governance matters, and assisting with matters involving federal securities laws. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple transactions simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging directly with clients on strategic business matters.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; at least 3 years of relevant corporate transactional experience, preferably at a mid-to-large law firm; experience with M&A and private equity transactions; strong drafting and due diligence experience; familiarity with corporate governance and federal securities laws; excellent academic credentials; and strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
