CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION| MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3-5 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Construction Law & Litigation group. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing team at an Am Law 100 firm, handling complex construction disputes across a variety of industries.
The Associate will manage construction litigation matters from inception through resolution, including court proceedings, mediation, and arbitration. Responsibilities include analyzing complex factual and legal issues, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, conducting and defending depositions of fact and expert witnesses, and developing litigation strategies. The role also involves working with standard construction industry contracts, including AIA forms, and may include contract drafting and advisory work. The ideal candidate will bring a practical, business-oriented approach to construction disputes while effectively managing multiple matters in a collaborative team environment.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–5 years of construction law experience; experience handling litigation matters through various stages of dispute resolution, including court proceedings, mediation, and arbitration; experience with depositions and motion practice; familiarity with construction industry contracts (AIA forms preferred); strong analytical, writing, and communication skills; and admission to (or eligibility for admission in) the Georgia and/or North Carolina Bar.
