INSURANCE + REINSURANCE LITIGATION | MID-LEVEL CAREER ASSOCIATE (5+ YRS): Our client, a leading national firm, is seeking a Career Associate to join its Insurance + Reinsurance Litigation Practice Group. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator who brings a deep understanding of insurance coverage issues and is comfortable managing complex matters involving professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. 

The Career Associate will handle high-level research, briefing, coverage analysis, and litigation strategy while collaborating closely with senior attorneys and contributing to sophisticated client work across the firm’s platform. Candidates must be able to thrive in an environment that values innovation, autonomy, and collaborative problem-solving. The position may be based in any Troutman Pepper Locke office or fully remote through the firm’s virtual office.

REQUIRED: A JD with at least 5 years of insurance coverage and commercial litigation experience; strong familiarity with coverage issues arising under professional liability, general liability, and D&O insurance policies; exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills; excellent academic credentials; the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also engaging effectively within a team environment; and a demonstrated commitment to high-quality client service and strategic thinking in a fast-paced litigation practice.
