LITIGATION - GENERAL AND COMPLEX LIABILITY | JUNIOR TO MID LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2+ YRS): Our client, a national firm, is seeking a junior to mid level Associate to join its Litigation Practice.Â
This opportunity is ideal for a litigation attorney with experience managing complex matters from inception through resolution while providing strategic legal counsel and courtroom advocacy. The role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, work closely with partners and clients, and develop substantial litigation experience in a collaborative environment.
The Associate will manage a broad range of litigation matters, including claims analysis, legal research, discovery, depositions, arbitrations, trial preparation, and appellate matters. Responsibilities also include drafting briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and appellate filings, representing clients in court proceedings and depositions, preparing and responding to discovery requests, coordinating with expert witnesses, assisting with trial strategy and execution, managing case deadlines, collaborating with partners and clients, and providing practical legal advice throughout the litigation process.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and at least 2 years of relevant practice experience. Applicants should have substantial experience with legal research, writing, oral advocacy, administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations. Strong litigation, analytical, communication, organization, and client-service skills are required. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction, with additional bar admissions considered a plus. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities independently while working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
