REAL ESTATE - COMMERCIAL | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (4+ YRS): Our client, a regional SE law firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its growing Commercial Real Estate Practice. This opportunity offers the chance to work on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions representing developers, investors, lenders, and business clients while enjoying meaningful client interaction, significant responsibility, and a collaborative team environment.
The Associate will assist with a broad range of commercial real estate transactions from contract negotiation through closing. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and related transactional agreements, conducting due diligence, managing closing processes, and advising clients throughout all phases of acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing matters. The role also involves collaborating with attorneys across the firm's real estate, corporate, banking, and tax practices to provide comprehensive legal counsel on complex transactions.
Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple transactions simultaneously, working directly with clients, and maintaining strong communication throughout the lifecycle of each matter. The ideal candidate will possess excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and project management skills, along with a practical, business-oriented approach to client service and a desire to build a long-term practice within a collegial and entrepreneurial environment.

REQUIRED: J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar admission in Tennessee and/or Georgia, or eligibility and willingness to obtain licensure in either jurisdiction; 4+ years of commercial real estate experience; strong academic credentials (top 15% of class preferred); exceptional drafting, research, writing, analytical, and communication skills; strong attention to detail; the ability to work independently and proactively; and experience managing multiple projects and deadlines. Experience representing developers, investors, lenders, and commercial clients in acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing transactions is preferred.
