REAL ESTATE - FINANCE | ASSOCIATE (3+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw100 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Real Estate Finance Practice. 

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with three or more years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate finance transactions who is interested in representing institutional lenders in complex lending matters. The position offers the opportunity to play a significant role in large structured finance transactions while working with a nationally recognized real estate finance practice.

The Real Estate Finance Associate will represent lenders in all phases of commercial real estate finance transactions. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating primary loan documents, conducting due diligence, managing transactions from inception through closing and post-closing, coordinating with clients and transaction teams, and advising lenders on complex financing matters. The successful candidate will assist with loan originations for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans, preferred equity financings, asset management matters, loan workouts, secondary market repurchase facility transactions, and other exit strategies. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing sophisticated transactions while collaborating effectively with attorneys and clients across the firm's national platform.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have three or more years of broad commercial real estate finance experience, including experience representing lenders in structured finance transactions. Experience with loan originations, mezzanine financing, preferred equity, asset management, workouts, and secondary market repurchase facility transactions is preferred. Applicants should possess excellent drafting, research, analytical, writing, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented, with the ability to navigate complex legal issues efficiently. A J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in the jurisdiction in which the candidate intends to practice are required.
