TAX & EMPLOYEE BENEFITS: Our client, the Atlanta office of an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney with 2 - 5 years of experience to join the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation (EBEC) subgroup of its Tax & Benefits practice group. This attorney will play a crucial role in supporting client teams with work related to the design and administration of tax-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and incentive and other compensation matters. Prior experience working on the design and/or administration of such plans, including experience with key legal requirements (e.g., ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code) are preferred but not required, if the candidate demonstrates an ability and interest in learning.
REQUIRED: A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials; GA Bar admission; excellent written, analytical, and oral communication skills; strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
