ENERGY FINANCE (CORPORATE) - MID TO SENIOR LEVEL:  Our client, an AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking a mid to senior level associate with 4+ years of experience for its Project & Energy group, with a focus on energy transition financing matters. This position can be based in any of the firm’s U.S. offices. As an associate you will have the opportunity to work on internationally recognized matters including novel financing deals in the energy transition space.   

In this role, the associate will be responsible for Effectively communicating, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties; Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner; Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product; Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required; Foster positive work relationships; Comply with all firm policies and practices; Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed; Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment; and Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as assigned.

REQUIRED:   3+ years of experience in energy transition finance matters; a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials; bar admission in the jurisdiction of candidate’s preferred office location; strong analytical and writing skills; attention to detail and excellent organization skills; good business judgment; direct and applicable AmLaw 100 firm experience is preferred.
