Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its sophisticated M&A practice in Atlanta. The Associate will take meaningful ownership of transaction workstreams from deal inception through closing, including drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements, equity documents, and ancillary transaction documents; managing due diligence; identifying and escalating transaction risks; coordinating closings; and providing post-closing support. The Associate will work closely with specialists across finance, tax, benefits, real estate, intellectual property, and litigation on complex, fast-moving transactions.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have 2+ years of meaningful M&A experience, preferably within a large or similarly sophisticated law firm environment, and demonstrated experience managing substantial components of transactions from initial stages through closing. Experience advising strategic buyers and sellers in complex transactions is preferred. Candidates must possess strong academic credentials and excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, organizational, and client service skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and aggressive deadlines. Candidates must have a JD from an accredited law school and be admitted to the Georgia Bar.
