MID-LEVEL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE (PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY/INSURANCE COVERAGE DEFENSE): Our client, the Atlanta office of a national firm, is seeking an attorney with 4 to 6 years of defense litigation experience, including professional liability and/or coverage litigation, to join their team. Candidates will be responsible for the following: analyzing and summarizing legal documents; researching both legal issues and information on people, businesses, and worksites; evaluating cases and strategically developing defenses; conducting client meetings and recommending strategies; investigating facts, planning, preparing, and conducting depositions; preparing and arguing motions; conducting hearings and mediations; preparing witnesses and corporate representatives; briefing at trial and appellate courts; thinking analytically; and writing defense mediation summaries.

The ideal candidate for this role must be a self-starter who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities, understand the importance of deadlines, take initiative, welcome challenges, and have a client-focused mentality. In this role, you must also have the ability to work flexibly and independently within a strong team. The ability to review and interpret financial records is a plus.

REQUIRED: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with a strong academic record; GA Bar Admission; and strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
