IN-HOUSE SR. CORPORATE COUNSEL - RENEWABLE ENERGY TRANSACTIONS in Atlanta, GA: Our client, a privately held renewable energy company headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Senior In-House Counsel (4-10 years experience). This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a rapidly developing industry, with strong career development potential. The in-house team reports directly to the General Counsel, supporting the various legal needs of the organization and having exposure to all legal elements that may arise in a rapidly growing, dynamic corporate environment in the renewable energy industry. Responsibilities may vary from day to day, but will include:

• Reviewing, redlining and drafting contracts and licensing agreements: engineering, equipment procurements, O&M, construction contracts, community solar subscription agreements
• Conducting business development matters
• Managing acquisitions of community solar projects
• Advising, handling and drafting general corporate legal matters
• Ensuring that the company is current on compliance of all energy regulatory legal matters

This role will report in office from Monday - Thursday and work remotely on Fridays, with occasional required travel. 

REQUIRED: JD from a top ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials; 8-10 years of relevant transactional work, with a strong preference for experience in renewable energy transactions; strong contract-drafting skills; excellent communication skills in both oral and written English; and proficiency in Word, Adobe, and PowerPoint.
