PROJECT FINANCE & M&A | ASSOCIATE (3–7 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a team-oriented associate to join its Project Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions group. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated energy and infrastructure transactions within a growing national practice.
The Associate will support a range of project finance and M&A transactions, with a focus on energy and infrastructure-related matters. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating primary transaction documents, assisting with deal structuring, managing due diligence processes, and supporting transactions from inception through closing. The role involves working closely with partners and clients on complex financings and acquisitions, contributing to deal strategy, and taking on increasing responsibility within transaction teams. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong drafting and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced transactional environment.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–7 years of experience in project finance, mergers and acquisitions, or related transactional work; experience drafting primary deal documents preferred; strong academic credentials; excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills; and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented practice.
