DEFENSE LITIGATION |JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY: Our client, a nationally recognized defense litigation firm, is seeking a junior to mid-level associate. This role offers the opportunity to work on varied, high-exposure litigation matters alongside top trial lawyers. The attorney will be involved in every stage of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal. The associate will handle professional liability, general liability, and commercial coverage matters, and will engage with complex fact patterns, diverse industries, and sophisticated clients. This position provides meaningful responsibility, hands-on litigation experience, and integration into a success-driven, collaborative team.
The Associate will analyze and summarize complex legal documents, conduct strategic case evaluation, investigate facts and develop defenses, prepare and take depositions, draft and argue motions, manage hearings and mediations, prepare witnesses and corporate representatives, and support trial and appellate briefing. The attorney must think critically, manage competing deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients and partners. This role is ideal for a litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys courtroom exposure, and seeks mentorship and professional growth within a respected national firm.
REQUIRED: A JD from an accredited law school; active membership in good standing with the Georgia Bar; strong legal research, analytical, writing, and communication skills; the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume practice; 1-5 years of defense litigation experience, with insurance defense, professional liability, or coverage litigation experience considered a plus; and a demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. A client-focused approach, initiative, and attention to detail are essential.
