CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3-5 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Associate to join its Construction Law & Litigation Group. The preferred location is Atlanta, GA, though candidates may also be based in Greenville, SC or Charlotte, NC. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, collaborative team handling sophisticated construction disputes and complex litigation matters for prominent regional and national clients.
The Associate will handle all stages of construction litigation and dispute resolution, including case development and strategy, motion practice, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation. Responsibilities include analyzing complex fact patterns, applying relevant statutory and case law, managing discovery, participating in court proceedings, and working directly with clients. Exposure to AIA or similar standard construction industry forms and/or contract drafting experience is a plus.
REQUIRED: A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3-5 years of meaningful construction law experience; demonstrated experience managing litigation matters and participating in depositions, hearings, mediation, and arbitration; strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills; practical judgment, common-sense approach, professionalism, and willingness to learn; admission to the Georgia and/or North Carolina Bar (or willingness to obtain admission).
