STRUCTURED FINANCE | OF COUNSEL / SENIOR ASSOCIATE (5–9 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an Of Counsel or Senior Associate to join its Finance Group within the Structured Finance subgroup, with a focus on commercial mortgage-backed securities transactions. This position is open to candidates across multiple U.S. offices and offers the opportunity to work within a sophisticated, nationally recognized finance practice handling complex securitization and structured finance matters.
The attorney will support structured finance transactions, including commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) deals, securitization matters, and related finance transactions. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting legal research and analysis, advising clients on complex financial structures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across offices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and writing skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage sophisticated matters both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; approximately 5–9 years of structured finance, securitization, CLO, or related finance experience; strong drafting and analytical skills; excellent communication abilities; and active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice. Prior experience at an AmLaw 100 firm and exposure to commercial mortgage-backed securities transactions are preferred.
