HEALTHCARE LITIGATION | SENIOR ASSOCIATE (5–6 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a senior associate to join the Healthcare Litigation division within its Trial Practice Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated healthcare disputes representing provider clients in complex reimbursement and managed care matters on a national platform.
The successful candidate will handle all phases of healthcare litigation, including arbitration and complex dispute resolution involving provider reimbursement issues across both commercial and government payors. Responsibilities include advising healthcare providers on managed care agreements, addressing disputes involving revenue cycle management, and applying working knowledge of provider coding and billing principles. The Associate will engage directly with clients, manage litigation strategy, oversee case teams, and contribute to high-level legal analysis and advocacy in health law matters. This position requires strong leadership capabilities, independent case management skills, and the ability to operate in a client-facing, fast-paced litigation environment.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 5–6 years of healthcare litigation experience; background in provider reimbursement matters and managed care agreements; working knowledge of healthcare coding and billing principles; experience managing litigation matters through arbitration and dispute resolution; strong writing, communication, and client relationship skills; demonstrated interest in health law; and active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
