LITIGATION- FINANCIAL REGULATORY | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3–5 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Financial Services and Securities Enforcement Department. This position offers the opportunity to work within a nationally recognized financial regulatory practice advising financial institutions and fintech companies on complex regulatory, compliance, and enforcement matters.
The Associate will advise clients across the financial services sector on regulatory issues involving fintech products, payment systems, licensing, and compliance obligations across domestic and international markets. Responsibilities include assisting with state and federal regulatory inquiries, advising on consumer financial protection laws, supporting rulemaking and regulatory strategy, and counseling clients on evolving regulatory frameworks affecting payments and financial products. The role also involves analyzing and advising on statutes including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Military Lending Act (MLA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong research, writing, and analytical skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal teams and client stakeholders.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–5 years of financial regulatory or financial services litigation experience; familiarity with fintech clients and payment products; strong academic credentials; excellent written and oral communication skills; and active Georgia Bar admission.
