CORPORATE M&A | MID TO SENIOR ASSOCIATE (5–7 YRS): Our client, a Global50 firm, is seeking an Associate to join its Mergers & Acquisitions team within the Corporate practice group.
The Associate will support complex corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, restructurings, and other strategic corporate matters. Responsibilities include leading transaction workstreams, drafting and negotiating primary transaction documents, managing due diligence processes, coordinating deal teams, and guiding transactions from inception through closing. The role involves regular interaction with clients and opposing counsel and requires collaboration with cross-disciplinary and cross-border teams across the firm’s national and international platform. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong drafting and analytical skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously within a fast-paced transactional practice.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 5–7 years of law firm experience focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions and related corporate transactions; experience leading M&A transactions and serving as the primary draftsperson for key transaction documents; ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously; strong academic credentials; and excellent written, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
