INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY | MID TO SENIOR LEVEL ASSOCIATE (5+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw100 firm, is seeking a mid to senior level Attorney with significant trademark experience to join its Intellectual Property Practice. 

This opportunity is ideal for an intellectual property attorney with substantial trademark experience looking to advise clients on sophisticated domestic and international trademark matters, including prosecution, enforcement, licensing, and intellectual property transactions. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex trademark portfolios while collaborating with a nationally recognized intellectual property practice.

The Staff Attorney will advise clients on a broad range of trademark matters, including preparing and prosecuting trademark applications, responding to official correspondence from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and foreign trademark offices, assisting with trademark enforcement matters, preparing complaints, notices of opposition, petitions to cancel, domain name complaints, takedown requests, and other intellectual property enforcement filings. Responsibilities also include drafting license agreements, assignments, and other trademark-related transactional documents, assisting with intellectual property transactions involving licensing, acquisitions, and dispositions, conducting due diligence, reviewing and revising intellectual property provisions in commercial agreements, managing trademark portfolios and docket deadlines, and conducting trademark searches and analysis.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have at least 5 years of trademark-specific legal experience. Applicants should have substantial experience with trademark prosecution, enforcement matters, trademark licensing, intellectual property transactions, and portfolio management. Knowledge of trademark search software, Microsoft Office Suite, AI tools, and the USPTO’s AI platform is preferred. TTAB discovery experience is a plus. Strong drafting, communication, organizational, and analytical skills are required. Candidates must be admitted and in good standing in the state where they practice.
