LITIGATION - GENERAL LIABILITY, INSURANCE DEFENSE | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2+ YRS): Our client, a national firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its litigation practice. This opportunity offers the chance to manage a sophisticated litigation caseload while working closely with experienced attorneys on all phases of complex disputes. The position provides meaningful courtroom experience, direct client interaction, and significant responsibility in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The Associate will manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, representing clients in state and federal court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, depositions, and other dispute resolution forums. Responsibilities include evaluating claims and legal issues, conducting extensive legal research, drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, appellate briefs, and other substantive filings, managing written discovery, preparing and defending depositions, coordinating expert witnesses, and assisting with all aspects of trial preparation and trial. The role also involves working directly with clients to develop litigation strategy, providing practical legal advice, and collaborating with partners and other stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Candidates should be comfortable independently managing multiple matters while balancing competing deadlines in a fast-paced practice. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical, research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism, and have the ability to communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
