This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with three to five years of transactional franchise experience who is interested in advising franchise systems, franchisors, and other franchise industry participants on a broad range of regulatory, transactional, and operational matters. The position offers the opportunity to work with a growing national practice that values collaboration, professional development, and long-term client relationships.

The Corporate Franchise Associate will advise clients on franchise-related transactions, compliance matters, and strategic business initiatives. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs), franchise agreements, franchise registrations, amendments, and related transactional documents; advising on franchise relationship matters, defaults, terminations, and regulatory compliance issues; supporting franchise expansion initiatives; and assisting clients with franchise-related mergers and acquisitions, international franchise licensing transactions, and dispute resolution matters. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to provide practical legal guidance and support the continued growth of franchise businesses.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have three to five years of transactional franchise experience in a law firm setting. Experience with FDDs, franchise agreements, franchise registrations, franchise regulatory matters, compliance issues, and franchise relationship matters is required. Experience with franchise mergers and acquisitions, international franchise licensing transactions, and dispute resolution is preferred but not required. Applicants should possess excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively. A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the bar, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly, in the jurisdiction of the resident office location are required.
