REAL ESTATE | SENIOR COUNSEL (7+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw100 firm, is seeking a Counsel with seven or more years of experience to join its Real Estate Practice.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced real estate attorney with a strong background in commercial real estate finance transactions. The position offers the opportunity to lead sophisticated financing matters for institutional and business clients while working with a nationally recognized real estate practice.
The Real Estate Counsel will lead and manage commercial real estate finance transactions, including the origination of complex real estate loans and related matters. Responsibilities include overseeing real estate diligence matters involving title, survey, zoning, and collateral review; drafting, reviewing, and negotiating loan documents and other financing agreements; managing transaction workflows; advising clients on complex real estate finance issues; and collaborating with attorneys and clients throughout all stages of transactions. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering strategic legal guidance on sophisticated commercial real estate financing matters.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have seven or more years of experience handling commercial real estate finance transactions, including experience leading loan originations and managing real estate diligence matters. Applicants should possess excellent academic credentials, exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities. A J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the applicable bar are required.
