INFORMATION TECH - AI | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2-4 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an Associate to join its rapidly growing Artificial Intelligence Practice. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement.
The Associate will work on sophisticated matters at the intersection of artificial intelligence, regulation, litigation, corporate transactions, and emerging technology. The role will have a significant regulatory and advisory focus while providing exposure to both transactional and litigation matters. Responsibilities include advising clients on AI governance, regulatory compliance, transparency and disclosure requirements, and emerging AI risks; monitoring developments in AI law and translating them into practical client guidance; and supporting AI related corporate and technology transactions through due diligence, drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment. The Associate will also conduct legal research, draft briefs, motions, memoranda, and correspondence, and assist with discovery, depositions, regulatory investigations, and litigation strategy.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have 2 to 4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 or other top tier law firm. Candidates may have a background in regulatory and advisory matters, corporate transactions, or litigation, but must be interested in working across a combination of corporate, litigation, and regulatory matters. Applicants should possess a genuine interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technology, with prior exposure to AI, regulatory, or transactional matters considered a plus. Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, and problem solving skills, strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are required. Candidates must have a J.D. with strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school and be admitted or eligible for admission in the jurisdiction where they intend to practice.
