LITIGATION - CONSUMER FINANCIAL SERVICES | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (4–6 YRS): Our client, a boutique firm, is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its nationally recognized Consumer Financial Services Practice.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with four to six years of litigation experience who is interested in representing consumer-facing companies operating in highly regulated industries, including traditional and decentralized financial services. The role offers the opportunity to work with a nationally recognized team on complex litigation, regulatory matters, government investigations, and emerging legal issues involving consumer finance, privacy, cybersecurity, and digital assets.
The Litigation Associate will represent clients in a broad range of consumer financial services disputes and regulatory matters. Responsibilities include managing all phases of complex litigation, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, conducting legal research, handling discovery, preparing witnesses, supporting trial strategy, and advising clients on compliance with consumer finance and privacy laws. The successful candidate will also assist clients responding to investigations initiated by federal and state government agencies while collaborating with attorneys across the firm's nationally ranked Consumer Financial Services Practice.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have four to six years of litigation experience, preferably representing clients in consumer financial services or other highly regulated industries. Trial experience is preferred but not required. Applicants should possess outstanding academic credentials, excellent analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills, and exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Admission to practice and active membership in the state bar of the jurisdiction in which the candidate resides is required.
