COMMERCIAL FINANCE | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Commercial Finance team. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated secured financing transactions within a collaborative environment alongside experienced practitioners in the firm’s corporate and M&A practices.

The Associate will support a broad range of complex financing transactions, including syndicated lending, leveraged acquisition financings, asset-based lending, and mezzanine or second-lien structured lending arrangements. Responsibilities include assisting with structuring, drafting, and negotiating loan and financing documentation, managing due diligence processes, coordinating with internal deal teams, and supporting acquisition financings in collaboration with the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and drafting abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently within a fast-paced transactional practice.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; at least 2 years of experience in commercial finance or a related transactional practice; familiarity with syndicated lending, asset-based lending, leveraged finance, sponsor-backed financings, and/or mezzanine lending transactions preferred; strong academic credentials; and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
