CORPORATE | SENIOR ASSOCIATE (6–8 YRS): Our client, a national firm, is seeking a Senior Corporate Associate. This opportunity offers the chance to work with start-ups, emerging growth companies, venture capital funds, and investors on sophisticated financings and strategic transactions while serving as a trusted advisor to some of the most dynamic companies in the technology and life sciences sectors.
The Associate will represent emerging growth companies, founders, venture capital investors, and growth-stage businesses in a broad range of corporate transactions. Responsibilities include advising clients throughout the company lifecycle, counseling founders, executives, boards of directors, and venture capital funds on corporate governance and strategic business matters, and handling seed, venture capital, and growth equity financings. The role also includes representing companies and investors in mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting due diligence, coordinating closings, and providing practical legal guidance on complex corporate transactions.
Candidates should be comfortable managing sophisticated transactions while maintaining direct and frequent interaction with founders, CEOs, boards of directors, and venture capital investors. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, along with substantial experience advising emerging growth companies and investment funds. A collaborative approach, business-minded judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment are essential.

REQUIRED: J.D. from an accredited law school; approximately 6–8 years of corporate transactional experience (Class of 2017–2019 preferred); strong academic credentials; exceptional drafting, analytical, writing, and communication skills; prior large law firm experience; and experience representing emerging growth companies, venture capital funds, and investors in venture capital financings, growth equity financings, and mergers and acquisitions.
