Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking a Corporate M&A Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join its Atlanta or Chicago office. The Associate will work on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions and related corporate transactional matters. This opportunity is well suited for an attorney with strong M&A experience, excellent credentials, and strong interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on sophisticated M&A transactions and related corporate matters; assist with the drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of transactional documents and support matters throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and deal teams on corporate transactions; provide organized, responsive support while managing multiple transactional matters and deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2–3 years exp. with M&A transactions; M&A experience is required
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills
• JD from a nationally recognized and accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
• Must be bar licensed or prepared to become licensed in the jurisdiction of the hiring office
