Description
Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Sr. Finance Associate (6 - 8 yrs) to join its Finance Practice Group in NY, Atlanta, or Houston. The Associate will advise a broad range of sophisticated clients, including leading banks, institutional investors, asset managers, and significant corporate borrowers, on complex leveraged finance, structured finance, commercial lending, workouts, and restructuring matters. The practice spans numerous industries and financing structures, offering significant opportunity for a varied and sophisticated finance practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent banks, institutional investors, asset managers, and corporate borrowers in sophisticated leveraged finance, structured finance, commercial lending, workout, and restructuring matters; advise on transactions across domestic and cross-border financing markets
- Handle matters involving senior, second lien and subordinated financings; working capital and leveraged acquisition financings; accounts receivable and equipment financings; project finance; lines and letters of credit; loan syndications and participations; manage multiple matters simultaneously and collaborate with cross-functional teams
REQUIREMENTS:
6–8 years exp. of relevant law firm finance experience, with strong skills and knowledge involving a broad range of commercial lending and financing matters
- Relevant experience may include senior, second lien and subordinated financings; working capital and leveraged acquisition financings; accounts receivable financings; domestic and cross-border financings; equipment and project finance; lines and letters of credit; and/or loan syndications and participations
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters simultaneously; work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients across a varied finance practice
- JD from a nationally recognized and accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
- Georgia, NY or TX bar licensed, or prepared to become licensed in the jurisdiction of the hiring office
