ENERGY & PROJECT FINANCE | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (4–7 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Energy & Project Finance group. This position is open to candidates across all U.S. offices and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated renewable energy and energy transition transactions within a nationally recognized practice representing sponsors, investors, developers, and lenders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in complex project finance transactions involving renewable power and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating primary transaction documents such as purchase and sale agreements, investment and tax equity agreements, financing documents, and joint venture agreements. The Associate will collaborate closely with partners and deal teams, manage transaction components independently, and contribute to strategic execution in deadline-driven environments while maintaining strong client interaction and teamwork.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 4–7 years of project finance experience involving sponsors, investors, developers, and/or lenders; experience with renewable energy or energy transition transactions preferred; demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate primary deal documentation; strong academic credentials; excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments; and active bar admission in the jurisdiction where the candidate will practice.
