FINANCE | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3–6 YRS): Our client, a Global50 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Finance practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work within a sophisticated finance practice advising leading banks, institutional investors, asset managers, and major corporate borrowers on complex lending and structured finance transactions.
The Associate will support a wide range of commercial lending and finance matters, including secured and unsecured financings, structured finance transactions, and project finance arrangements. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating financing documents, assisting with senior, second lien, and subordinated financings, and supporting matters involving leveraged acquisition financings, accounts receivable financings, and equipment financings. The role also involves working on loan syndications, participations, securitization transactions, and cross-border financings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Attorneys in this position will gain exposure to private credit, asset-backed securities, and syndicated loan markets across industries including telecommunications, media, automotive, manufacturing, technology, aircraft leasing, water, timber, and agribusiness.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–6 years of relevant law firm experience in commercial lending, structured finance, project finance, or related transactional matters; experience drafting and negotiating finance documents; ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously; strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills; and active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction.
