HEALTHCARE REGULATORY | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3–5 YRS): Our client, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Healthcare practice. This role offers the opportunity to advise institutional healthcare providers on complex regulatory and transactional matters within a nationally recognized healthcare group.
The Associate will counsel clients on federal and state healthcare regulatory issues in connection with corporate and transactional matters. Responsibilities include conducting corporate and regulatory due diligence, structuring transactions to comply with healthcare laws, and drafting and reviewing transactional documents. The role involves advising on compliance with the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute, supporting Change of Ownership (CHOW) transactions and related regulatory filings, and assisting with matters involving the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) voluntary self-disclosure protocols. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–5 years of healthcare regulatory and transactional experience; experience advising on federal and state healthcare regulatory matters; substantive knowledge of the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute; strong academic credentials; excellent research, writing, and communication skills; and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
