IMMIGRATION (WRITING INTENSIVE) | JUNIOR ASSOCIATE (1+ YR): Our client, an AmLaw 200 firm,  is seeking an Immigration Associate to join its Immigration Business Unit. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with the ability to work remotely two days per week.

The Associate will focus primarily on writing intensive immigration matters, taking the lead on sophisticated filings and working closely with attorneys, paralegals, and clients. Responsibilities include drafting responses to Requests for Evidence, preparing National Interest Waivers, O 1 and EB 1 petitions, J 1 waiver applications, and similar immigration filings. The Associate will also prepare and submit matters to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and other government agencies, complete and review immigration forms and supporting documentation, and gather facts and evidence necessary to support client applications.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have at least 1 year of immigration experience gained as an associate, law clerk, paralegal, or in a similar position involving writing intensive immigration matters. Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in immigration law and possess significant experience with complex immigration writing. Strong advocacy, legal research, and writing skills, excellent attention to detail, strong academic credentials, and the ability to organize and manage multiple matters in a fast paced environment are required. Candidates should particularly enjoy and excel at creative and persuasive legal writing. An active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction is required.
