LITIGATION - INSURANCE COVERAGE/BAD FAITH | SENIOR LEVEL ASSOCIATE OR PARTNER (8-15 YRS): Our client, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Senior Associate or Partner to join its Insurance Coverage Practice in the Atlanta office.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced insurance coverage attorney looking to advise insurers on complex coverage matters and litigate high stakes insurance disputes. The role offers the opportunity to work with a nationally recognized insurance coverage practice representing primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, third party administrators, managing general agents, insurance brokers, and other insurance industry clients.

The Attorney will advise clients on insurance coverage and bad faith matters, including preparing coverage opinions, analyzing complex insurance policies, and representing insurers in extra contractual and bad faith litigation. Responsibilities include counseling clients on bad faith claims, coverage disclaimers, coverage allocation, policy interpretation, declaratory judgment actions, mediations, arbitrations, and insurance coverage litigation in state and federal courts. The role also involves providing strategic guidance on complex insurance claims and representing clients throughout all phases of litigation.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have 8-15 years of insurance coverage experience, including experience preparing coverage opinions involving bad faith claims, coverage disclaimers, coverage allocation, and policy interpretation. Applicants should have experience litigating extra contractual and bad faith claims, possess exceptional research, analytical, and legal writing skills, and be admitted to practice law in Georgia.
