REAL ESTATE | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw100 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Real Estate Practice.Â
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with three or more years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate finance transactions who is interested in representing lenders, borrowers, property owners, and investors in a broad range of real estate matters. The position offers the opportunity to play a significant role in complex financing transactions while working with a nationally recognized real estate practice serving institutional lenders, private equity sponsors, developers, and other market participants.
The Real Estate Associate will represent clients in all phases of commercial real estate and real estate finance transactions. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating loan and financing documents, conducting due diligence, managing transactions from inception through closing and post-closing, coordinating with clients and transaction teams, and advising clients on sophisticated real estate financing matters. The successful candidate will assist with acquisition financings, mezzanine financings, construction financings, refinancings, loan modifications, and other commercial real estate transactions. Experience with joint ventures and other equity arrangements is a plus. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple complex matters independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and clients across the firm's national platform.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have three or more years of experience representing lenders or borrowers in sophisticated commercial real estate debt or finance transactions. Experience with acquisition, construction, mezzanine, and refinancing transactions is required, and experience with joint ventures or other equity arrangements is preferred. Applicants should possess excellent drafting, analytical, writing, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented, with the ability to navigate complex legal issues efficiently. A J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in the jurisdiction in which the candidate intends to practice are required.
