REAL ESTATE CAPITAL MARKETS | ASSOCIATE (3-6 YRS): Our client, an AMLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid- to senior-level Real Estate Finance Associate to join its Real Estate Capital Markets Group, in its Atlanta office. The Associate will work on sophisticated commercial real estate finance and structured finance transactions, including warehouse financing, loan securitizations, complex finance structures, mezzanine financing, and equity investments. The practice represents national and regional banks, life insurance companies, pension and mutual funds, private equity groups, REITs, CMBS servicers, and other non-bank financial institutions in transactions involving commercial real estate loans, loan portfolios, master repurchase facilities, securitizations, and servicing matters.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-6 years of meaningful finance experience, with experience in structured finance and/or real estate development and commercial real estate finance. Experience must include: warehouse financing, loan securitization, complex finance structures, mezzanine finance, and equity investments.
• Preferred experience: Loan-on-loan experience and familiarity with servicing and custodial arrangements are preferred; loan origination experience is a plus but not required.
• Candidates seeking to transition from a related corporate finance or structured finance practice will also be considered.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Georgia Bar admission, or eligible for immediate admission
