LITIGATION (CLASS ACTION) |SENIOR ATTORNEY - NON-PARTNERSHIP TRACK (6+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Senior Attorney to join its Litigation Group, specifically within the Product Liability, Mass Torts & Class Actions subgroup, to support its Class Actions team. This is a non-partnership track position.
This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled litigation attorney with exceptional writing ability and substantial experience handling complex class action matters. The role focuses heavily on written advocacy and strategic litigation support in sophisticated class action and mass tort matters involving high-stakes disputes and complex procedural issues.
The Senior Attorney will play a central role in developing litigation strategy through strong written work product and case analysis. Responsibilities include drafting substantive briefs, motions, and legal memoranda, reviewing and preparing discovery responses, analyzing discovery to inform litigation strategy and motion practice, and preparing deposition outlines. The role requires deep analytical thinking, strong command of procedural strategy, and the ability to distill complex factual and legal issues into persuasive written advocacy.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must hold a J.D. from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where they intend to work. Applicants should have a minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, with substantial experience drafting sophisticated litigation documents, including motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions. Candidates must possess superior legal writing, research, and analytical skills, along with strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple deadlines effectively, and produces high-quality work with minimal supervision.
