TAX | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2+ YRS):Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a highly qualified associate to join its Tax practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative national platform advising clients on sophisticated federal tax matters related to corporate transactions, entity structuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
The successful candidate will advise clients on complex federal tax issues arising from entity formation, transactional structuring, and M&A activity. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth tax research and analysis, assessing tax implications of proposed transactions, supporting deal structuring strategies, and collaborating with transactional attorneys and clients to deliver practical, business-focused tax solutions. The position provides exposure to high-level transactional work and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of a nationally recognized tax practice.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; minimum of 2 years of tax experience in a law firm or major accounting firm; experience researching and analyzing complex federal tax issues involving entity formation, deal structuring, and mergers and acquisitions; strong academic credentials; excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills; and active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice. An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred.
