LITIGATION- WORKERS’ COMPENSATION | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL DEFENSE ASSOCIATE (1+ YRS): Our client, a regional firm, is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Associate. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners within an established defense practice handling workers’ compensation matters in a collaborative and supportive environment focused on professional development and growth.
The Associate will support all phases of workers’ compensation defense matters, including case management, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, attending hearings and depositions, and collaborating closely with clients and internal teams. Responsibilities include managing files efficiently, assisting with litigation strategy, and maintaining strong communication with clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing caseloads within a hybrid work environment.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; minimum of 1 year of workers’ compensation defense experience or demonstrated interest in workers’ compensation law; strong research and writing skills; excellent communication abilities; and active Georgia Bar admission in good standing.
