BANKRUPTCY| MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3-5 YRS) : Our client, an AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a mid-level Bankruptcy Associate to join its growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated restructuring matters while also gaining exposure to related litigation in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The Associate will handle a broad range of bankruptcy and restructuring matters, with a focus on Chapter 11 proceedings. Responsibilities include representing debtors and committees of unsecured creditors, participating in contested hearings and adversary proceedings, and supporting all phases of bankruptcy litigation. The role also includes involvement in general litigation matters, providing a well-rounded practice experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities, excellent writing and research skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple matters while working closely with partners and clients.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–5 years of substantive bankruptcy experience in a law firm setting; experience with Chapter 11 proceedings; experience representing debtors and/or creditors’ committees; bankruptcy court experience, including contested hearings and adversary proceedings; strong academic credentials; and excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
