ENERGY TRANSACTIONS |MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3-5 YRS): Our client, a Global50 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Energy practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value domestic and international energy and infrastructure projects across a broad range of sectors, including renewable and traditional energy.
The Associate will support complex transactional matters within the energy sector, including project finance, mergers and acquisitions, project development, construction agreements, and other commercial transactions. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing multiple matters simultaneously, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across offices. The role also involves direct client interaction and developing a strong understanding of client business objectives across industries such as solar, wind, geothermal, carbon capture, nuclear, LNG, and conventional power generation.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–5 years of transactional law firm experience, preferably in energy finance or related areas; experience supporting complex transactions, including project finance, M&A, or infrastructure deals; strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple matters; and excellent communication and client service skills.
