WORKERS’ COMPENSATION | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2+ YRS): Our client, a national insurance defense firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney, focusing on workers’ compensation matters. This role offers the opportunity to manage a full caseload while gaining hands-on litigation experience in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
The Associate will manage cases from inception through resolution, including analyzing claims, drafting pleadings and motions, and handling discovery. Responsibilities include representing clients in court, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions; coordinating with expert witnesses; preparing for trial; and delivering strategic legal advice. The role requires strong ownership of matters, the ability to manage deadlines effectively, and close collaboration with partners and clients to achieve successful outcomes. A 1,950-hour annual billable requirement applies.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; active admission to the applicable state bar; minimum of 2 years of experience in workers’ compensation or related litigation; strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; experience with depositions, mediations, and administrative proceedings; ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong organizational and client communication skills.
